When Brutallus died, so did we. All of us. Thanks to an Ankh to keep him in combat a split second longer and a DOT tick, Brutallus died. Good for us he doesn’t have friends around to resurrect him.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that going from a few kills of Illidan and then right into Sunwell felt like going from T6 to T8 and being forced to skip T7. It was a tough fight that requires an intricate strategy with very little room for failure. It was just what we wanted. Something challenging and enjoyable.

Grats to all of our raiders who have stuck it out with us throughout Outland. We really got a whole lot done in a very short amount of time. Our new raid force that came together at the start of tier 5 has been amazing every step of the way. We have been quick to learn and when we weren’t that quick to learn we were always determined enough to make the kills happen.
A few interesting facts about our T6 progress.
- We usually only had ~30 active raiders at any given time.
- We only raid 3 days a week.
- We only have 8 healers in the guild.
- We only have 3 tanks and 1 off-tank.
- We only skipped Hyjal one week during our 6 progress.
- Teron Gorefiend and Illidari Council were two of our toughest fights to learn but some of our easiest kills to duplicate.
- Bloodboil and Reliquary of Souls were two of our easiest fights to learn but toughest kills to duplicate.
- Illidan Only took 1.5 days of learning.
- Phase 2 was not our most difficult phase.

We got Illidari Council down after two attempts last night. I wanted to record the fight but I didn’t think the kill would come so quick so I didn’t even have fraps running. The past couple of weeks had been a little rough on us and left us with only half hearted attempts on council (and zero attempts on them last week.) I don’t know if it was due to finals or what, but we had a few roster changes that hurt. Things didn’t start looking better until the beginning of this week.

Mother Shahraz dead. One step closer to Illidan. I managed to get a video of the encounter. I redid my UI this weekend since people kept telling me how awful and cluttered my old UI was.
